SHAVE FOR A CAUSE

One of our teachers, Bernie, and two senior students (from the Active Volunteering class) took part in the
‘World’s Greatest Shave’ for the Leukemia Foundation last Thursday! They were on a mission to shave the
world from blood cancer. We can’t believe how much they raised and how brave they were. They raised over
$1800 towards helping families facing blood cancer with the emotional and practical support they need. Every
day another 47 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. That’s one Aussie every 31 minutes.

We are so proud of Bernie, Steph and Zach and had a great day colouring the hair of other students and staff
as well.
